Because it is a laboratory machine, it only runs for a short time and then needs to be adjusted to have a commercial product. Therefore the pile must be convenient for the purpose of repeated use. For the above purpose, Larsen steel sheet pile, is selected.

The function of the Larsen pile system is to keep the generator stable on the bottom of river or seabed.

The layout of the pile system is so that it can withstand the maximum force, which is convenient for making piles, driving and pulling out piles, and it is convenient when connecting the pile system and the generator.

Currently, the Larsen pile driving in the river often uses self-propelled barges, with cranes, diesel generators, hydraulic pumps, and driving vibrators. Choose a barge large enough to carry all the necessary equipment.

When designing generators for the tail current of hydroelectricity, the author chooses the means of transport as containers. Therefore, from the rotating drum, the generator frame can be put into the container to be transported from the factory to the construction site.

Larsen steel poles are available in lengths from 6m to 18m. With a length of steel pole up to 18 m, it can be used for the purpose of exploiting flow kinetic energy downstream of Tri An hydropower plant with a depth of 2m to 6m.

The steel sheet piles selected for use are U-shaped: 500 mm wide, 200 mm high, 24.3 mm thick. In Viet Nam and the world market, larsen steel piles are available in lengths from 6m to 18m
